1. Promotion Applicability


‍1.1 This promotion (“Promotion”) is organized and conducted by Damex (“Promoter”) exclusively for users of the Damex App (“App”).

1.2 The Promotion is designed to reward and engage App users.

2.1 What is the  EEA Card Launch Promotion About?
 

The EEA Card Launch Promotion is a  campaign run by Damex for its existing Damex App users. Damex is giving 5 euros for each 50 euros spent with the Damex Card; the EEA Card Launch Promotion will be carried out from the 3rd of October 2023 to the 31st of December 2023 during the Promotion Period (the “Promotion”). This Promotion applies to  the Card requests.

[Other Specifications: Please note that this Promotion specifically excludes withdrawals, transfers, margins, and account fees, and focuses solely on the trading fees associated with exchanges of the Specified Exchange Types.]

2.2 Dates of the Promotion

The Promotion will run from Tuesday the 3rd of October 2023, and is applicable during the Promotion Period from 00:00 GMT , until we decide to terminate it (the “Promotion Period”). We may decide to terminate this Promotion for any reason without notice.These terms and conditions in relation to the Promotion (“Promotion Terms”) shall be read in conjunction with the general Damex App Terms & Conditions. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Promotion Terms, as well as any other applicable terms and conditions that may apply to your use of the Damex App and our services.

 

3. Elegibility

 

3.1 Am I eligible?

To participate in the Promotion and benefit from the currency exchange fee waiver, you must be a registered user of the Damex App in good standing, with a valid Damex account. The Promotion is open to individual users only.To qualify, users must reside in an eligible jurisdiction as determined by Damex. You are not eligible if you are UK resident and this promotion is not intended for UK persons. For further details and eligibility requirements, please visit www.damex.io.

‍3.2 What do I need to do to take part in the Promotion?

To participate in the Promotion, ensure you apply for your Damex Visa Card within the “Card section” throughout the Promotion Period. The 5 euros reward will be automatically sent to your at the time of the transaction.

 

4. General Terms

 

1. The Promotion is organised and offered by Damex.io UAB, a company incorporated in Lithuania with registration number 306148560 and registered office at Žygimanto Liauksmino g. 3, Vilnius, Lithuania.

2. These Promotion Terms form part of and shall be read with the general Terms & Conditions of the Damex Application.

3. Damex reserves the right to:

3.1 modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time, with or without notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting of revised Promotion Terms on the Damex App or website;

3.2 disqualify any user from participating in the Promotion if the user engages in any fraudulent activity and/or the user breaches these Promotion Terms or the Damex App Terms & Conditions that apply to the user;

3.3 disqualify any user from participating in the Promotion, delete or suspend user accounts, or reverse any rewards if the user downloads and installs the Damex App through unofficial channels;

4. In the event of any failure, interruption or delay in the performance of our obligations, resulting from acts, events or circumstances outside our reasonable control (which circumstances shall include, but not be limited to unanticipated dealing volumes, market liquidity issues, industrial disputes, acts or regulations of any governmental or supranational bodies or authorities, act of god, pandemic, threats or acts of terrorism, fire, war, civil commotion, insurrection, embargo, breakdown, failure, malfunction or delay caused by any public utility, telecommunications or computer service or systems) Damex shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred or suffered by you.

5. These Promotion Terms are in English and all future communications will also be in English and any translation is a courtesy and an unofficial translation only. Participants of the Promotion cannot derive any legal rights from a translated version. The English language version of these Promotion Terms shall apply and prevail and be conclusive and binding. The English version shall be used in any legal proceedings.

If you are a UK or Gibraltar retail customer, we invite you to transfer your account and services with Ziglu. 

If you are an EEA customer migration to Ziglu will be available in phase two, expected in Q1 2025.

The transfer process of your Damex account to Ziglu is simple and secure.

Simply follow the link in your email to create your Ziglu account, where you will be guided through the necessary steps to confirm your account details and agree to Ziglu’s Terms of Service. 

Suppose you are already a Ziglu customer then, good news! In that case, simply email us at [email protected] requesting a balance transfer to your Ziglu account. Once we’ve done all the necessary verification we will connect your Ziglu account and you will see your Damex funds reflected there within 5 business days, at no cost to you.  

Once you’ve been verified as a Ziglu customer, Damex will receive a prompt and any remaining balance on your Damex App will be automatically transferred to your Ziglu account within 5 business days, at no cost to you.

There is no charge to a customer when ordering either a Virtual or Physical card.

Ziglu does not currently support direct debits for the account.  It’s recommended that customers change any required direct debits to a supported account.

  • Ziglu customers can deposit and withdraw GBP onto the platform using their safeguarded account.
  • Customers can also instantly transfer Fiat and Crypto to other Ziglu customers using peer-to-peer transfers
  • Customers are also able to use their GBP, EUR, and USD balances to pay and make purchases at vendors using their Ziglu Mastercard Debit Card

Transactions will be charged to the currency the card has been issued in. Any transactions that take place outside of the issued currency will incur the Mastercard FX rate fee.  When traveling there is the option to temporarily convert currency into either USD or EUR with a favourable FX rate, transactions will then be linked to that currency.  

  • Damex customers have to download the latest version of the Ziglu app from their device app store

Not all assets provided by Damex are offered by Ziglu. If you own one of the following assets, you must exchange or withdraw it from the Damex App before signing up with Ziglu:

  • Damex Token 
  • USDT 
  • USDC 
 
If you currently hold Damex tokens and wish to continue trading it after the specified transition date, please note that Ziglu does not offer support for this asset. However, you can still trade (buy, sell & hold) your Damex Token by creating an account with BitMart or AscendEX (BitMax).
 
Here’s what you will need to do:
 
  1. Create a BitMart or AscendEX (BitMax) account: Please use the below links to sign up – BitMart or AscendEX (BitMax)
  2. Transfer Your Tokens: Ensure you transfer your Damex Token to Coinstore before the transition date to avoid any disruptions in trading.
 
Remember, transferring to an ERC-20 address is crucial for compatibility with the above providers platform.

If you do not wish to transfer your Damex account to Ziglu, you can withdraw your assets and close your account.
